Description:
A windproof down coat that provides lightweight insulation for cold, dry conditions. In spite of its length (down to the knee) and its very good insulation performance, the YAKIMA weighs in at just 900 g (size M). What makes this coat so warm, apart from the 80/20 down fill of course, is the windproof shell fabric, which protects the down and allows it to achieve its full loft. The fabric is also very breathable and water resistant. At the more exposed areas (hood and hem), a hollow fibre thermal interlining is used instead of a down fill. Additional cold block cuffs prevent wind and cold penetration.
